LiteSpeed Cache (Admin)

The admin LiteSpeed Cache page manages LSCache for every domain on the server, across all hosting accounts. It carries the same per-domain settings and purge actions clients have, so you can tune or clear a customer's cache without impersonating the account.

Overview

URL: /admin/lite-speed-cache

The page appears in the LiteSpeed or OpenLiteSpeed navigation group, matching whichever server is active, and only while a LiteSpeed-family server serves traffic. On a MyApache box there is no LSCache to manage.

Admin LiteSpeed Cache listing domains from every account

Hosting Account Domains

Every domain on the server is listed under Hosting Account Domains, with whether its cache is Enabled and the Settings and Clear Cache actions. Deleted domains are left out. Search by domain to find a customer's site.

Settings

Settings on a domain opens the same form the account owner sees:

  • Enable LiteSpeed Cache for the domain.
  • Default TTL and Maximum TTL in seconds.
  • Maximum object size in bytes.
  • Excluded paths that are never cached, for example /wp-admin or /checkout.
  • Reset to defaults.

Clear Cache

Clear Cache purges the cached pages of that domain. Use it when a customer reports stale content after publishing changes, before looking for a deeper cause.

Availability for clients

For the account owner, the client LiteSpeed Cache page follows two conditions: a LiteSpeed-family server has to be active, and the account's hosting plan has to grant the LiteSpeed Cache feature. The page is available on OpenLiteSpeed as well as on LiteSpeed Enterprise. Grant or withdraw the feature on the Hosting Plans page.

The admin page has no plan condition: it covers every domain regardless of what the plans grant.
