LiteSpeed Cache ​

Overview ​

LiteSpeed Cache (LSCache) speeds up your sites by serving cached copies of your pages, so visitors get faster load times and your server does less work. When your hosting runs on LiteSpeed, you manage the cache for each of your domains from this page: turn it on or off, tune how long pages stay cached, and clear the cache when you publish changes.

LiteSpeed Cache is available when your hosting is served by LiteSpeed. If you do not see this page, your hosting is not on LiteSpeed - contact your provider.

Domains list ​

Each of your domains is listed with:

  • Domain - the domain name.
  • LiteSpeed Cache - whether caching is Enabled or disabled for that domain.
  • Actions - Settings and Clear Cache.

Settings ​

Click Settings on a domain to configure its cache.

Per-domain LiteSpeed Cache settings: enable, TTL, object size, and excluded paths

  • Enable LiteSpeed Cache - turn caching on or off for the domain.
  • Default TTL - how long (in seconds) a page stays cached when it does not set its own lifetime.
  • Maximum TTL - the longest time (in seconds) any page is kept in the cache.
  • Maximum object size - responses larger than this many bytes are not cached.
  • Excluded paths - paths that are never cached, for example /wp-admin, /cart, or /checkout. Press Enter after each path.
  • Reset to defaults - restore the default values.

Click Save changes to apply.

Clear Cache ​

Click Clear Cache on a domain to purge its cached pages. Do this after you publish changes that are not showing up, so visitors get the latest version.

WordPress sites ​

For WordPress, install the LiteSpeed Cache plugin inside the site. It adds full-page caching, image optimization, and one-click purging from the WordPress dashboard, and works together with the server-side cache. You can open and manage your WordPress sites from Manage WordPress.
