PostgreSQL Health
PostgreSQL Health shows the state of the server's PostgreSQL database server and how much space each PostgreSQL database takes. It is the PostgreSQL counterpart of MySQL Health. Available since panel 1.9.3.
Overview
URL: /admin/health/postgresql
Open it from Health > PostgreSQL in the sidebar. The menu entry is PostgreSQL, because it already sits under Health; the page itself is titled PostgreSQL Health.
The entry appears once the PostgreSQL module is installed. Without it, the page is not listed and does not open by its address either.
Refresh in the header reads the state from the server again.
This page shows the service and the databases. It does not show live load such as connections or the query rate; for those figures on MariaDB or MySQL, see MySQL Health.
Overall Health Status
The top card shows the overall state as a badge, with the time of the check and the PostgreSQL version on the right:
- Healthy - PostgreSQL is installed and running.
- Critical - PostgreSQL is installed but not running.
- Unknown - the panel could not read the state, or PostgreSQL is not installed on the server.
Service
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Status | Running, Not running, or Not installed. |
| Service | The name of the service on the server. |
| Listen | Where PostgreSQL accepts connections. |
| Port | The PostgreSQL port, marked Open or Closed. |
| Databases | How many PostgreSQL databases the server holds. |
The database count and the list below are read only while PostgreSQL is running. If the list cannot be read, the page shows Error Loading Health Data with the reason.
Database Disk Usage
The Database Disk Usage card lists the PostgreSQL databases, largest first, each with its size in MB and a bar that compares it with the largest one.
