Softaculous is a widely used auto-installer that integrates with adminbolt to streamline the installation of website scripts. It supports a large library of web applications and offers features such as auto-updates, backup and restore functionality, and multi-language support.
The module must first be installed from the Application Modules page (/admin/module-manager). Once installed, the Softaculous entry appears in the sidebar under Applications and opens this page.

Actions
- Install Button – Located on the Application Modules page (
/admin/module-manager). Clicking this installs the module and makes Softaculous available via the adminbolt interface. - Once installed, Softaculous will appear in the left-side navigation menu under
Applications > Softaculous.
Installed View
After installation, opening Softaculous from the sidebar redirects to this page where a single action is available:
- Open Softaculous – Opens the Softaculous admin panel in a new browser tab. From there you can browse the script library, install applications, and manage existing installations.
The page itself only acts as a launcher. All script installation and management happens inside the Softaculous admin panel that opens in the new tab.
