Admin Panel

The admin panel is where you run the server: the hosting accounts on it, the mail it sends, the certificates it serves, and every setting behind them.

Since panel 1.9.0 the sidebar is thirteen groups, each covering one subject. Open a group and you are already in the right part of the panel; server configuration sits under Settings, grouped by what it configures, and web server configuration has its own Web Server entry.

Coming from an older panel? Every old address redirects permanently to its new location, so nothing you saved stops working. The guide for panels before 1.8.0 stays available under /1.7/ through the version picker in the top navigation.

The thirteen groups

Group	What it covers
Dashboard	Server load, what needs attention, recent activity, and quick actions.
Customers	Hosting accounts, resellers, and the packages they are sold under.
Backups	Backup repositories per account, with their runs, restores, destinations, and policies.
Web Server	Which engine serves the sites, its health, and every web server setting.
Email	Mail services, mailboxes, the queue, sending limits, and blacklists.
SSL	Installed certificates and every attempt to issue one.
Health	Problems that need attention across the server, with metrics, MySQL and PostgreSQL health, malware protection, DNS domain health, and the panel's background jobs.
Cluster	Hub mode: the servers attached to this panel and the zones and accounts across them.
Logs	Every system log and the activity log, as tabs of one page.
Migration	Moving hosting accounts from a cPanel or DirectAdmin server into this one.
Modules	Optional functionality: install it, update it, or remove it.
Integrations	The official AdminBolt integrations, the WHMCS plugin, the Blesta module, and the Upmind module. New in 1.9.0.
Settings	The server's configuration screens, grouped by subject. The web server's are under Web Server.

Cluster appears only on a hub; the other groups are always there. A module adds its own screens once it is installed and takes them away when it is removed, and those screens land inside Settings: JetBackup, Softaculous, and Watchdog under Tools, and CloudLinux's LVE Manager and Isolation Report under CloudLinux. The Acronis Backup module is the exception: since panel 1.9.3 it adds Acronis under Backups. LiteSpeed and OpenLiteSpeed management are tabs of Web Server. Since panel 1.9.2, each tab appears once its engine is installed or while it is the web server; until then the engine's card on the Web Server overview offers Install. The logs a module brings become tabs of the Logs page.

Inside each group

Dashboard

• Dashboard - server load, attention items, top accounts and domains, updates, and recent activity.

Customers

• Accounts - create and manage individual hosting accounts.
• Reseller Accounts - create and manage resellers and what they may sell.
• Hosting Plans, Feature Lists, and Plan limits - the three tabs of Hosting Packages.

Backups

• Backups - the overview, and the tabs below it.
• Backup Destinations - the storage backups are written to.
• Backup Policies - what is backed up, when, and for how long.
• Backup Runs and Restore Jobs - the history of both halves.
• Server Configuration Backup - the server's own off-site backup and the disaster restore.
• Acronis Backup - whole-server backups into Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and recovering from them, with the Acronis Backup module. Since panel 1.9.3.

Web Server

• Web Server - the active engine, its health, and the tabs holding every web server setting.
• Apache Includes - custom Apache directives that survive a configuration rebuild.
• ModSecurity Vendors - the rule sets ModSecurity loads, each installed and updated on its own.

Email

• Email - mail services, servers, and recent mail activity.
• Send Email, System Mailbox, Mail Queue, and Blacklists - the remaining tabs of the Email page.
• Mail Autodiscovery and Mail SNI - what AdminBolt sets up for mail clients on its own.
• Outbound Sending Limits - what was rejected, and whether the limits are being applied.
• SpamExperts and MailChannels - the two inbound filters. A domain uses one or the other.

SSL

• SSL Certificates - the certificates installed on the server.
• SSL Issuance History - every issuance attempt and why a failed one failed.
• SSL for hosting accounts - which accounts are covered.

Health

• Health - the problems that need attention, by scope.
• Metrics - resource and service metrics over time.
• MySQL Health and PostgreSQL Health - the database servers' state, listed as MySQL and PostgreSQL. New in 1.9.3.
• Security - the malware protection engine that guards the server, a comparison of ImunifyAV, Imunify360, and cPGuard, and installing or switching the engine. New in 1.9.3; it replaces the former Security Scan screen.
• Malware - every malicious file found in the hosting accounts, whichever engine found it, with quarantine, restore, and delete. New in 1.9.3.
• DNS Domains Health - whether each domain resolves the way it should, listed as DNS Domains.
• Background Jobs - the work the panel runs in the background, and running failed jobs again or deleting them. New in 1.9.2.

Cluster

• Hub Mode - run this panel as a hub for other AdminBolt panels.
• Hub - the servers, global DNS zones, fleet accounts, and account migrations behind it.

Logs

• Logs - the system logs, one tab each. Since 1.9.3 Logs is a single sidebar entry.
• Activity Log - what was done in the panel, and by whom, as the second tab of Logs.

Migration

• External Migrations - Migrate from cPanel or DirectAdmin, the page that moves accounts off a cPanel or DirectAdmin server.

Modules

• Modules - the module cards, and installing or removing one.
• The page of a module, for example Roundcube, FileManager, or PHPMyAdmin, opens from its card. phpMyAdmin is the customers' database tool: since 1.9.2 it has no page under Settings, and administrators open the server's databases in Adminer.
• Integrations with their own guides: JetBackup, Imunify360, CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, and OpenLiteSpeed.
• Security suites and engines: CPGuard, ImunifyAV, the LSAPI Engine, X-Ray, AccelerateWP, and Terminal.

Settings

Settings holds the configuration screens in sections named after what they configure.

• General - General Settings, including branding and the hostname, and Support Tickets, which connects the panel to your helpdesk.
• PHP - PHP Versions and PHP Domain Assignment.
• Databases - MySQL Settings, Remote MySQL, Adminer, and Redis instances. With the module installed: PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL Settings, and Remote PostgreSQL. On CloudLinux: MySQL Governor.
• DNS - DNS Settings, DNS Records, DNS Templates, Resolver Configuration, and Secondary DNS Servers.
• Email - Email Settings.
• SSL - SSL Providers.
• Tools - FTP, plus the management page of each installed tool module.
• Agents - Agents Connection.
• CloudLinux - LVE Manager, the Isolation Report, and Application Runtimes, on a server converted to CloudLinux.
• Security - Fail2Ban, Firewall Rules, SSH Access, API Keys, and Domain Security. Your own password and second factor live on Security.
• Infrastructure - Network IPs, Dedicated IP for a Hosting Account built on top of them, and Email Servers.
• System - Cron Jobs, License, System Notifications, Admin Management, System Updates, Server Time, and Operation Hooks.

Screens that are not in the sidebar

A few screens answer at their own address without appearing in the navigation. They are reached from another page, or by typing the address.

• Changelog (/admin/change-log) - opened from the version number at the bottom of every page.
• Rspamd Admin (/rspamd-webui/) - opened from the Email page header.
• Linux Packages (/admin/settings/linux-packages) - a Settings screen under System.
• Profiles - this screen no longer exists. Apache profile behaviour is configured on the Apache tab of Web Server in the sidebar.
