Imunify360

Imunify360 is a comprehensive security platform for Linux web-hosting servers: web application firewall (WAF), malware detection and cleanup, brute-force protection, and reputation management. AdminBolt installs it and surfaces it to both administrators and end users.

Installation

  1. Open Modules in the sidebar (/admin/modules).
  2. Select Imunify360 and start the installer (/admin/imunify360-installer). The installer has no sidebar entry; it opens from the module card.
  3. Enter your Imunify360 activation key and proceed. The installer downloads and sets up the Imunify360 packages and reports progress.

An activation key is required - the installer cannot proceed without one.

What it provides

  • WAF, malware scanning and cleanup, brute-force protection, and reputation management (the Imunify360 engine).
  • An admin security view in the panel and a client view so users can see the security status of their own account.

Known limitations

  • Imunify360 runs as its own service; AdminBolt installs it, checks its health, and surfaces its views. Once installed, it is reached under Settings > Tools.
  • When Imunify360 is active, it overlaps with Fail2Ban on IP blocking; disabling Fail2Ban is recommended.
