Application Modules
The Application Modules page allows administrators to install, update, and remove optional modules that extend the functionality of adminbolt. Each module is delivered as a self-contained package and can be installed or uninstalled on demand.

Overview

Modules are presented as cards in a grid. Each card contains:
- Module Name – The name of the module (e.g.,
JetBackup,Softaculous,Imunify360). - Version – Module version number.
- Status – Either
InstalledorNot Installed. - Description – Brief summary of what the module does.
- Tags – Category labels such as
Security,Database,Mail,Backup,System,Web Server,Filesystem,Storage,Performance,Operating System,Automation,Installation, orApplication Runtime. - Action Button –
Installfor modules that are not yet installed, orUninstallfor modules already present on the system. An Upgrade button appears when a newer version of an installed module is available.

The page lists all modules that ship with adminbolt. Examples include:
- Nodes – Multi-node management and orchestration.
- Metrics – System monitoring and analytics.
- Watchdog – Automated service monitoring and alerting.
- Softaculous – Auto-installer for popular web applications.
- JetBackup – Enterprise-grade backup solution.
- Imunify360 – Comprehensive security platform.
- FileManager – Web-based file manager.
- LocalApi – Local API interface for the environment.
- PHPMyAdmin – Web-based MySQL/MariaDB administration.
- Adminer – Lightweight web database administration.
- Git Version Control – Git integration for end users.
- Roundcube – Browser-based email client.
- ModSecurity – CRS4 Rules – OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set.
- Phusion Passenger – Application server for Ruby, Node.js, Python.
TIP
The list of modules available on your installation may differ depending on your adminbolt version and license.
Installing a Module
Click the Install button on the desired module card. The installation process runs in the background and may take several minutes depending on the module. Once installed, the module's UI typically appears in the sidebar under the Applications group.
Uninstalling a Module
Click the Uninstall button on an installed module to remove it. System-critical modules tagged as System should be removed only when you are sure the dependent functionality is no longer needed.
WARNING
Uninstalling a module may remove its data and configuration. Make sure to back up any important data before proceeding.
