System Mailbox ​

The System Mailbox collects the email sent to this server's own system accounts, such as postmaster@ and admin@. Use it to read what the server itself receives, and to confirm that mail addressed to the panel actually arrives.

Overview ​

URL: /admin/email-system-account-mail-box

Open it from Email in the sidebar, then the Mailboxes tab, which is how the panel labels this page. The header reads "Review emails sent to system accounts like postmaster@, admin@, etc.", and the tab carries the number of messages held.

You can send email to the system mailbox address, [email protected], to check the deliverability and performance of outbound mail from your AdminBolt instance. With nothing received yet, the page states "No system mailbox messages" instead of showing an empty table.

Table Columns ​

  • Subject - The subject line of the received email.
  • From - The sender's email address.
  • Body - A preview of the email body content.
  • View - Click the eye icon on the right to view full email details in a modal window.

Search Functionality ​

The search input allows filtering emails by From address.

Pagination ​

You can control how many results are shown per page using the pagination dropdown. Available options typically include 5, 10, 25, 50, and All.

Email Details Modal ​

Clicking the View icon opens a modal that displays the full details of the selected email.

Fields Displayed in Modal ​

  • Subject - Full subject of the email.
  • From - Sender's email address.
  • To - Recipient's email address (system mailbox).
  • Date - Timestamp of when the email was received.
  • Body - Full content of the email message.
  • Email Dashboard - the Overview tab, with mail services and recent activity.
  • Send Email - send a message from the system address.
