CPGuard ​

The CPGuard page is the way into CPGuard Protection for your account: the antivirus, malware scanning and web application firewall your hosting provider runs on the server.

Added in AdminBolt 1.7.0.

Overview ​

URL: /client/cpguard

The page sits in the Security navigation group. It appears only when your provider has installed CPGuard and your hosting plan includes it.

What the page does ​

Open CPGuard Dashboard takes you to CPGuard's own app, where your account's scan results, quarantined files and protection settings live.

Scanning and blocking happen on the server continuously, whether or not you open the app. Nothing has to be started here.

  • SSL Certificates - encryption for your sites, which is a separate matter from malware scanning.
  • AI Bot Blocking - controlling crawlers, also separate from the security suite.
  • File Manager - where you can inspect a file the scanner flagged.
