IP Assignments – adminbolt Reseller Panel

The IP Assignments section allows resellers to view and manage which IP addresses are assigned to their hosting accounts. You can see which account uses which IP and, if the panel allows it, assign or change IPs for accounts you own.

Overview

IP assignments let you:

  • See which IP addresses are in use by your hosting accounts.
  • Assign a dedicated IP to an account (when allowed by the provider and available in your pool).
  • Change or release an IP assignment so the address can be reused or returned to the pool.

Dedicated IPs are often used for SSL certificates, mail reputation, or when the account must be identified by a fixed address.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the reseller panel in adminbolt.
  • Network Management in the sidebar (Network Management → IP Assignments).
  • IP addresses available in your IP Pools (see IP Pools).

Interface Description

  • Breadcrumb: IP AssignmentsList.
  • Page heading: IP Assignments (h1).
  • New IP Assignment – Link (top right) to create a new assignment; opens the create page at .../network-i-p-assignments/create.
  • Search – Search box to filter by IP, domain, or account.
  • Filter – Button (shows count, e.g. Filter 0) to apply filters.
  • Toggle columns – Button to show or hide table columns.
  • Empty state: When you have no assignments, the page shows the heading No IP Assignments and the message Create an IP assignment to get started.

When assignments exist, a table lists them with columns such as IP address, hosting account (domain or username), date assigned, and status. Row actions typically allow you to edit or release an assignment; releasing an IP returns it to your pool.

  • IP Pools – View and manage the pool of IPs available for assignment.
  • Accounts – Hosting accounts to which you assign IPs.
  • Plans – Plans may affect how many dedicated IPs you can offer.

Notes

  • The number of IPs you can assign is usually limited by your reseller package and the size of your IP pool. Check with your provider if you need more addresses.
  • Releasing an IP from an account may affect SSL or mail; plan the change and inform the customer if necessary.
