Forwarders – AdminBolt Hosting Panel

Overview
The Forwarders section in AdminBolt enables users to automatically redirect incoming email from one address or domain to another. This allows centralized inbox management and simplifies mail routing between users or systems.
Purpose
- Forward emails from one email address to another.
- Redirect all messages for an entire domain to a different domain.
- Centralize communications without changing where emails are sent.
Interface Description
Email Account Forwarding
Mappings dropdown:
- Filter and apply forwarders by domain (default: All Domains)
Create Buttons:
- Create Forwarder – Redirect mail from one email address to another (e.g.,
joe@example.com → joseph@example.com) - Create Domain Forwarder – Redirect all email from one domain to another domain (e.g.,
@old-domain.com → @new-domain.com)
Search:
- Quickly find existing forwarders using email or domain keyword.
Current Forwarders
Displays two tables:
- Email Account Forwarders
- Currently shows: No Email Forwarders
- Domain-Level Forwarders
- Currently shows: No Email Domain Forwarders
Once configured, these lists will show:
- Source address/domain
- Destination address/domain
- Delete/edit controls
Use Cases
- Consolidate multiple inboxes into one.
- Redirect support or legacy addresses to a new mailbox.
- Transitioning between domain names during rebranding.

Notes
- Forwarding does not store copies unless a mailbox is configured.
- Domain forwarders override individual email forwarders.
- Be cautious to avoid forwarding loops between mailboxes.
