WordPress Installer – adminbolt Hosting Panel
Overview
The WordPress Installer in adminbolt (WordPress Toolkit) is a guided WordPress Installation Wizard. You go through several steps: choose the domain and path, configure the site, create the administrator account, set advanced options, then review and start the installation. WordPress is set up without using FTP or the command line.
Purpose
- Install WordPress on a domain or subdomain from the panel.
- Set the installation path (document root or a subdirectory such as
blogorwp). - Configure site settings and create the first WordPress administrator account.
- Have WordPress ready to use after the wizard finishes.
Prerequisites
- A domain or subdomain configured under Domains in the panel.
- Access to WordPress Toolkit in the sidebar (WordPress Toolkit → WordPress Installer).
Interface Description
The page title is WordPress Installation Wizard, with the subtitle: Install WordPress quickly and easily with our guided setup.
The installer is a multi-step wizard. The steps are:
- Domain & Path – Choose where to install WordPress.
- Site Configuration – Configure your WordPress site settings.
- Admin Account – Create your WordPress administrator account.
- Advanced Options – Configure advanced WordPress settings.
- Review & Install – Review your settings and start installation.
Step 1 – Domain & Path (first screen):
- Select Domain* (required) – Dropdown: Choose a domain.... Select the domain where you want to install WordPress.
- Installation Path – Text field; placeholder: e.g. blog, wp, or leave empty for root. Leave empty for the document root, or enter a subdirectory like
blogorwp. - Cancel – Abandon the wizard.
- Next – Go to the next step (Site Configuration).
Later steps collect site title, admin username and password, and optional advanced settings; the last step shows a summary and starts the installation.
Step-by-step: Installing WordPress
- Open WordPress Toolkit → WordPress Installer in the sidebar.
- Domain & Path: Select the domain and, if needed, set the Installation Path (e.g. leave empty for root or enter
blog,wp). Click Next. - Site Configuration: Enter the site name and other settings. Click Next.
- Admin Account: Enter the administrator username and password for WordPress. Use a strong password. Click Next.
- Advanced Options: Adjust any advanced settings if needed. Click Next.
- Review & Install: Check the summary and click the button to start installation.
- Wait for the process to complete. When it finishes, you can open the WordPress site or log in to the WordPress admin (wp-admin).

Notes
- The installer usually creates the database and database user for WordPress automatically. If you prefer to use an existing database, check whether the installer offers that option.
